A well-established business specialising in road transport solutions across the UK and Europe is seeking a highly skilled Head of Sales, specialising in European Road Freight, to join its International division.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive sales in import, export, and cross-border road freight services.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the entire sales process, including lead identification and contract implementation.

2. Collaborate with the management team to develop a robust sales strategy for the European road business.

3. Promptly respond to tender requests and provide accurate quotations to potential clients.

4. Conduct site visits and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective customers.

5. Manage key customer accounts through effective account management practices.

6. Work closely with the operations team to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

2. Proven track record of success in securing new business within the European road freight sector.

3. Strong network within the European haulage sector

4. Minimum of 10 years of experience in European road freight sales roles.
