Job Summary
As the EHS Coordinator (Bi-Lingual English-Spanish), you will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish, as you will be responsible for communicating and training employees in both languages.
 Responsibilities:

Support the success of the project with effective safety and health related services.
Help create, improve, and comply with Site-Specific EHS Plans.
Be a team player and integrate into the project team as an equal and valuable member.
Assists the project team and project leadership with incident investigations, corrective actions, and final reports.
Deliver training in Spanish and communicate with Spanish speaking employees about safety concerns.
Be self-directed and conduct independently all required safety and health tasks required by ITAC’s EHS Policy, the customer’s project requirements and the project Site-Specific EHS Plan. 
Provide safety and health technical support and training to project managers and field employees.
Evaluate all field operations, including emergency response procedures, for improvement in effectiveness and compliance.
Conduct documented audits and inspections of assigned projects, areas, and work tasks.
Enter all daily, weekly, and special training and audits into ITAC’s online system and customer systems as required.
Communicate with other EHS Coordinators and EHS Managers about conditions and concerns about their project.
Perform Air sampling and monitoring, data logging and basic Industrial Hygiene related tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in EHS coordination and training, with a focus on bilingual communication (English/Spanish).
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively train and engage diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently when needed.
Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CHST, NFPA70e, OSHA 500, CHMM) is a plus.
Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive to project sites with company vehicles.
