Product Engineer NPI (Temp 12 months)

Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to hire a Product Engineer (Temporary 1 year fixed term to permanent) for our Operations team within the Networking, Indoor Cellular, and Security Solutions business unit.

The ideal candidate will be based within commuting distance of Buchdorf, Germany.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As a Product Engineer (New Product) you will help us to bring new products from R&D to our production facilities. You are the multidirectional interface between collaborators, supporting Quality, Project Management, Production, R&D and more.

Here, you will use your mechanical and electronic skills within a prototype environment, develop new products, guide how best to achieve the manufacturing stage, follow up on quality, reporting to the Product Engineer Manager, Systems & Duplexers locally.

You will work alongside a distributed team supporting new product introduction teams in Mexico and China production. The teams are passionate about Distributed Coverage & Capacity Solutions (DCCS), being worldwide experts in delivering reliable wireless coverage virtually anywhere-in vast stadiums and tall buildings, dense urban areas, and even deep underground.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor or equivalent experience in Electronics or Meister (Elektrotechnik) or Techniker

• Good basis in electronics (RF, digital, analogue, ) and mechanical skills, experience in assembling complex systems according to rough drawings.

• Very good German language skills (close to native), English fluent (written and spoken),

• Flexible to travel (Europe, South-East Asia, North America, ) around 20% yearly.
  

You Will Excite Us If You Have

• Good understanding of electronics - focus on RF

• Experience in manufacturing

• Basic knowledge of SAP

• Experience working in international teams, a Chinese/Spanish speaker would be beneficial.
